detailed information about unethical forms of so called "casting director

educational value given by casting directors and sold to aspiring actors
by alluding to potential bookings of acting jobs resulting from participating
in these events.
Casting directors are professionals paid by production companies and
studios to find actors that fit certain role profiles in upcoming motion
picture, TV or commercial projects; actors are never required to pay
for these job auditions. Luring aspiring actors who aren't being considered
for parts the regular way into paying for meetings with casting directors
is based on - and does further perpetuate - a system of inequality and
double standard that is besmirching the American film industry and gives
way to the exploitation of aspiring artists who are unaware of being
exploited.
The publicity campaign of DNP has lead to the Californian State Department
of Labor acknowledging that the type of business described above is
not only unethical but also illegal. Current objective of DNP is to
contribute to the law being enforced by continuing to inform the public
and further monitoring the businesses in question, in order to protect
aspiring actors from exploitation and to restore a level of responsibility
and accountability to the casting profession.

The panel of four candidates had to guess the line = profession of Dalí
("artist"), while wearing blindfolds, through asking questions which
