We've updated and overhauled the PDF

On August 23, the art gallery fingerspitzundkunst
presents an Art & Barbecue event at the Black
& White Club in Kaiserslautern.
There will be a barbecue and the artists Caro
Parsons, Sonja
Blügel, Santiago
Munoz Prado and Tony
Caulfield will paint a wall which borders on the club's outdoor
area. A part of this wall has already been painted by the artist Jim
Avignon, on July 11.
While the mentioned participants are painting, and further artist of
the gallery are exhibiting some of their works, the band Acoustik
Soul will play live on the beer garden's stage.
The outdoor area also provides, near mentioned wall, a playground for
your kids, incl. a sandbox and a trampoline. An art event for the whole
family!
Start: 15:00. Anticipated end: 21:00.
Admission fee: 5,00€

From July 3 to July 5 the annual "Altstadtfest"-event
took place in Kaiserslautern, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. In the
course of this event, the art gallery fingerspitzundkunst
also celebrated its first anniversary with a three-days long vernissage
and an inspiring as well as entertaining program.

From July 3 to July 5 the annual "Altstadtfest"-event
will take place in Kaiserslautern, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. In
the course of this event, the art gallery fingerspitzundkunst
will celebrate its first anniversary with a three-days long vernissage
and an inspiring as well as entertaining program.
About 30 of the gallery's artists will exhibit one of their works (paintings
and sculptures) each. On Saturday (04.07.) evening, the singer, musician
and composer Manuel Sedo Hartel will perform some of his epoch-making
self-composed songs live in front of the gallery.
The group exhibition following the event will run until July 31st. Tony
Caulfield is exhibiting as well.

On June 27 and 28, an event by the "Förderverein
Künstler gegen Armut e.V." (Artists Against Poverty Association)
titled "The World's Longest Political Painting" will take place. During
these two days, a group off approx. 100 artists will paint on a canvas
sized 1m x 120m. The goal is to create sophisticated visual statements
concerning the topic of "poverty in Germany".
This is an open-air event incorporated into the Days of Culture Wiesbaden-Breckenheim.
Visitors are heartily welcome and may watch the involved artists painting
on both days.
2/3 of the revenue of this artistic charity event will go to to "upstairs
- Straßenkinder in Wiesbaden" and 1/3 to the campaign "Ihnen leuchtet
ein Licht"; both projects aid the poor in the region where the event
takes place.
To draw more attention to this artistic as well as charitable event,
the project has applied for inclusion in the "Guinness-Book of Records".
Initiator and organizer of the event is the artist Frank
Dengel. Among the participants are artists such as Caroline
Parsons, Liliana
Szeligowska, Santiago
Munoz Prado, Axel
Flitsch, Franz
Burger, Pierre
Dassbach, Tony

Kaiserslautern, starting at 8:00 on Halloween (31.10.). If

Hi all!
On Halloween (Friday, 31. October 2008) the art gallery fingerspitzundkunst
organizes an author reading fitting for that day.
I'll be reading a story from my first book "Das
Buch des Wahns" (The Book of Madness), a collection of horror
stories.

Admission is at 19:00. The reading will start around
19:30.
There will be a break during which we can relax and chat, just
like after the reading.
The book can be purchased that evening and I'll sign it for you
on request.
Moreover, old and newer ones of my paintings
will be exhibited; among them some of those "Das Buch des Wahns"
is illustrated with. The paintings are also for sale.
From now on, fingerspitzundkunst is selling tickets at the price
of € 5 each (incl. sparkling wine) at the address given below.
There's space for 30 people per reading. If more are interested,
the reading will be repeated the following day. Please don't wait
too long with buying the tickets, so we can plan.
The gallery has decided that only people at age 18 or above will
be admitted. (After all the "Buch des Wahns" consists of horror
stories containing elements from the subgenre "splatterpunk".)

Join-Up Team teaches the nuts and bolts of using the Join-Up method.

A new version of the popular online forum "FRanz
Magnus WOHLFÜEHL ECKE" (an intentionally mistyped name meaning:
"Franz Magnus feel-well-corner"), being part of the German-language
spoof/comedy website frnz.de,
went back online on June 6, over a month after the forum provider had
gone out of business and closed all forums.
In the meantime, ART & DESIGN COMPANY had set up the inofficial
successor of the "FRanz Magnus WOHLFÜEHL ECKE" on ESKAPISMUS.COM,
a web project by Floracentric
Enterprises. This forum will continue to exist under the name ESKAPISMUS.COM
FORUM.
As Frnzfans, we're very happy about the launch of the new "FRANZ
WOHLFÜEHLECKE" and perceive our own forum not as a competitor but
merely as another lawn for fun grazing.

We have updated Tony

radio station. Since today, 12:00, Antenne
Kaiserslautern is officially on air (UKW/FM 96.9 Mhz).
They're playing mostly mainstream music and also some nice songs from
the 80s. Their news broadcasts focus on events in and around the town
the station is located in. That's their concept for all of their stations...and
more of them will open soon.

Enterprises set up the inofficial
successor of the "FRanz Magnus WOHLFÜEHL ECKE" on ESKAPISMUS.COM!
On April 30., 2008, the popular online forum "FRanz Magnus WOHLFÜEHL
ECKE" (an intentionally mistyped name meaning: "Franz Magnus
feel-well-corner"), being part of the German-language spoof/comedy
website of the amiable fictional character Franz
Magnus (frnz.de
- "Franz ist im Internet"),
went offline.
 |
The reason for that is the closure of forum provider
Parsimony, which
had been hosting the "FRanz Magnus WOHLFÜEHL ECKE".
For many years, the "feel-well-corner" of our beloved Franz
or "Frnz"
had been an abode of creativity, (often frnz-format oriented) comedy
and once in a while also a place of more serious discussions with a
philosophical, psychological or sociological touch.
With the deletion of this forum, that had been populated by a lot of
funny, creative and interesting personalities, a piece of internet history
that had grown dear to many, has...well, become just that: history.
And some might already say: legend!
In an attempt to reunite the strong "Frnz community" of board
regulars on a substitute forum, the self-confessed Frnz fan Tony
Caulfield has included an alternative
"WOHLFÜEHL ECKE" in his web project ESKAPISMUS.COM,
on 02.05.2008.
Until it's decided whether the person behind frnz.de
will open a new forum at its original place on frnz.de,
abovementioned new forum will function, until further notice, as the
inofficial

Dear Ronny,
best friend and family member to one of my best friends and blood
sister. That's who you were...and still are, will always be.
We call you Tiffy, Dearweiler, Endive,... It's being said, in
jest, that you had cuddled to death quite a few. You were never
too heavy for those on whose lap you used to lie, already well
advanced in years, for a good friend is never a burden.
You were scared of snails, were at the "Schmitzekatze"'s disposal
as a fluffy sandbag for karate practice, prefered to rather walk
away ten times when someone a quarter of your physical size barked
at you or teased you, ere you could once bring yourself to act
in defense, more in terms of a gesture than with the intent to
harm.
But one day, as a (cooking-) pot salesman had intruded your family's
former, then always unlocked home, five seconds later they found
the pots scattered all over the floor and a very self-absorbed
man outside the entrance, just about to drive off without his
pots and pans. Had you been cognizant of the fact that the man
had simply acted stupid but not maliciously, it would have made
you happy to know that Judith had given him back his merchandise
in spite of his trespassing.
Sad you never got to know my beloved Blacky. You two would have
got along tremendously well. Maybe you'll meet him on the other
side; on that point in timeless eternity you will snuffle the
presence of a personality matching your own.
A red candle on your grave, inmidst a private piece of forest
next to the undulating lawn on which you liked to frolic till
just recently, illuminates the night on your last journey into
a better dimension, in which the love you gave in this world does
eternally fondle your soul.
We'll meet there, someday. Till then.
